Welcome 6th Grade!

Welcome Artists!

I (Ms. Lisa) am very excited to begin this school year and work with you all in Art class.  I know you will all create some really great projects as well as learn new techniques to improve your Art skills.  We will be working hard all year and I will showcase some of your projects on this website and also during the Spring Art Show. (usually held first week in May)

This is going to be a great year.  Let's ALL work hard and appreciate being at a school where education is valued!

Check back at this site to see updates/photos soon!

Blessings to each of you, :)

Recycle that stuff!

A new art form..... Recycled Sculpture!
Look at all these great supplies!
Now the challenge comes on what will YOU do to change these objects, put them together, and build something that looks like a FANTASY CREATURE? Hmmmmmm..... get that brain of yours thinking!

Rekan off to a great start! Using the root system to attach 2 pieces together.

The "Tools" and "Mrs. Lisa-Help-me" Table. Creative way to attach those cardboard tubes and cups together, Dalya!

Linard's creature has a curly telephone wire for the tail. Where did you get such a great idea to add the egg carton on the bottom? :)

Yoanna, one of the first to finish and anxiously waitng to add color to her Dinosaur creature.

Lozeen, now that's what I call FANTASY!  I can't wait to hear the story about what this creature can do!

Alend, working hard as usual. What great ideas for his construction and supplies!

Lolan busy gluing on her Shaun the Sheep cotton :)

Excellent work day today everyone!
We'll finish building our creatures next Thursday and begin adding color to them the following week.
They are really coming along......Keep up the great work!
